Refunds, Replacements and Other Customer Service TOP

As these are digital products, I can't offer a refund. I don't anticipate any problems, but please contact me as soon as possible, so that I can resolve any trouble. I try to return  your emails within a few hours, but this is a one-lady show, so give me a little bit to get back to you. I do sleep once in a while. :)

If you have a problem with a download, please let me know within the 24-hour window after your purchase. I can replace the link within that window. After that period, I will not provide replacement images unless there is an exceptional reason. Please contact me if needed though and I will do my best to work with you.

My main goal is to provide you with high-quality, fun images that you enjoy using and creating with. My images make me happy and I hope you love them as much as I do.

XOXO

Where did you get the name Tiddly Inks? TOP

Tiddly Inks is the fun little name I created years ago to represent the images I was drawing. It is a play on words since most of my original art was inked and they were sort of tiny and cuddly [tiddly]. I am a full-time illustrator (former science teacher) and stamp designer who loves cute images mixed with a little gothic twist and sense of humor. I hope you enjoy them all as much as I do. :)

I am just getting this site started and hopefully will soon offer more items, like digital paper, notecard templates, baby blankets and many cute digital stamps. Please check each Tuesday for new items and digitals.

How to CHECK OUT and DOWNLOAD YOUR IMAGES TOP

Paypal is required for purchase from Tiddly Inks. If you don’t have a Paypal account, you can create one by  going to www.paypal.com and signing up. PayPal allows you to pay with a credit card or use your PayPal balance. I DO NOT ACCEPT E-CHECKS.

Whichever method you choose, your payment is securely processed by PayPal; I do not store your payment information, nor do I share your email address.

How to purchase from the store: When you locate the digis you want, click on the thumbnail image.  On the screen with the full-sized, you will find a QTY block and an ORDER Button. Left click on the ORDER button. This will take you to your cart. Once you’ve finished selecting all your images and you are ready to pay, use the top icon that says  "GO TO CART." Follow the instructions through Paypal sign in and checkout.

Your digital items will be emailed to you after payment. If you do not receive your links, please sign back in to your account and download the items there. You will have 3 opportunities to download your images.

As with all things electronic, downloading images depends on the settings on your computer's and email settings. Please do not contact me for lost images until you have checked your Spam Box or logged into your account to download your images.

How to SAVE your instant download TOP

Once you have downloaded your images, you will need to SAVE your image. It might be best to create a FOLDER on your Desktop and store all Tiddly Inks images there for easy location. I also suggest keeping a backup on a CD or a memory stick of all your digis. I will not provide replacement copies for lost files.

How to PRINT your digital Images TOP

The best thing about digital files is that you don’t need fancy equipment or expensive software to work with them. You will need some sort of photo processing or editing system to resize and print though. You can use free programs already installed on your computer, like MS Word and Paint, or you can get a little fancier and get something like Adobe Photoshop Elements to help you branch out. If this is new, start with Word if that is already installed on your computer.

Follow these steps to open, resize, and print a digital stamp in MS Word.
1. Open a new file in Word

2. Go to the menu bar and click INSERT, then PICTURE, then FROM FILE (if you saved your image to the Tiddly Inks folder on your desktop, find your image there).

3. Click on the image once it's in Word -- it will highlight and you can grab a corner (hold Shift down so your image doesn't distort) to resize it. You can also right click on the image and FORMAT it there. A menu will come up with many different options.

4. Once your image is sized correctly, you can PRINT! If you wish to print multiple items at one time, just repeat the steps until you have all your images on the page.

5. COLOR! :) CREATE! :) Have fun.

If you do want to branch out to Photoshop type work, I am including some links to amazing tutorials on Photoshop Elements and the possibilities are endless....be prepared to get addicted. :)

Don’t you design rubber stamps too? TOP

Yes, I do--for Stamping Bella. :) You can find my designs under the HuggaBugg and Tiddly Inks sections.

As much as I love Bella and all things Bella, I also like to create images that don’t necessarily fit the Bella lines. I thought I would turn some of my favorite non-Bella images into digitals. The two lines won’t be meeting in the middle though, since the Bella images will not be made into digitals and the digitals will not be made in ‘rubbah.’ Instead you get the best of both worlds--exclusive Tiddly images and exclusive Bella images. I hope there is a place for both types of stamping in your creative world. :)

Why digital? TOP
Hmmmm, let’s see. I like digitals for their affordability, portability, flipability and sizability...:) They store easily and you can create different artwork since you can color them traditionally or digitally...watch out though, they are still addictive.

If you are new to digital downloads, I suggest reading the following tutorials to help you decide how to save your digitals and work with your files. (In short, keep a FOLDER on your desktop for Tiddly Inks stamps and back them up on a memory stick or CD.)

Want some Printing Tips?  TOP
Digitals can be handled just like regular stamps once they are printed...the trick is to make sure the ink sets properly prior to coloring. I happen to use an Epson Stylus Photo 1400 Ink Jet and the ink never runs...I can color right away. Most printers should do just fine with a little tip: heat set your ink with your dryer or heart gun prior to coloring with markers or Copics. That should prevent the smudging that can occur with some ink jets.

If you have tips on printing, please email me and I will add them here or on the blog.
